Build your results chapter as one Word report
A quantitative results chapter usually covers the sample profile, scale reliability, factor analysis, correlation and regression or SEM, and then the hypothesis tests. Each tool on this site already writes the APA tables and the paragraph for its own part; this page combines the parts you have run into one Word file, renumbers Table 4.1, 4.2… consecutively and builds the lists of tables and figures.
- Run the analysis tools you need on your data; each one saves its section in this browser.
- Come back here, tick the sections to include and put them in order with ↑ and ↓.
- Set the chapter title and first section number, then download the Word file.
Each time you run descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha, survey data analysis, PLS-SEM or mediation and moderation, the results are kept in this browser (nothing is sent to a server). Choose the sections to include, put them in order and download one Word file.
Tables and figures are renumbered consecutively (Table 4.1, 4.2…) across the chapter; references to them in the text change to match.

How to use it
- Run the analysis tools on your data, in the usual order of a results chapter: descriptive statistics and sample profile, Cronbach's alpha, EFA, correlation and regression, PLS-SEM if your study uses SEM, and mediation and moderation if you have them.
- Each tool keeps the results section of its most recent run in your browser. Running it again replaces the old section.
- Open this page in the same browser: tick the sections to include, reorder them with the ↑ ↓ buttons, set the chapter title, and download the Word file. Click “Show example” first if you want to see what the file looks like.
Your data and results never leave your computer: they sit in your browser's storage (localStorage) and are not sent to a server. Clearing your browsing history or using a private window removes the saved sections. To move to another computer, run the tools again there.
Worked example
Suppose you ran Cronbach's alpha first, which saved a summary table as Table 4.1 (Satisfaction α = .836 and Trust α = .812, n = 210), and then the survey data analysis, which numbered its own tables from 4.1 again: the KMO and Bartlett table (KMO = .861, Bartlett p < .001) and the regression table (Trust B = 0.412, p < .001). In the combined chapter the reliability table stays Table 4.1, the KMO table becomes Table 4.2 and the regression table Table 4.3. The sentence “KMO = .861 (Table 4.1) indicates that the data are suitable for factor analysis” is rewritten to cite Table 4.2, so captions and in-text references stay consistent. This is exactly the example behind the “Show example” button.
What the Word file contains
- The chapter title and sections 4.1, 4.2… in the order you chose.
- A list of tables and a list of figures at the start (you can switch them off).
- APA-style tables numbered consecutively across the chapter; references to them in the text are renumbered to match.
- Figures (the PLS-SEM path diagram, interaction plots) converted to high-resolution PNG images.
- The interpretation paragraphs and threshold citations that each tool wrote.
The sample profile comes from the descriptive statistics tool. Not yet covered: chi-square tests, logistic regression and common method bias checks. These tools are in progress and will appear here automatically when they launch.
Before you submit
- Read every paragraph again: the tools write from rules and do not know the context of your study. Add your explanation of why the results came out as they did, and compare them with earlier studies in your discussion chapter.
- If your university requires a table of contents, select each heading in Word and apply a Heading style so the automatic table of contents picks it up.
- Apply your university's formatting rules (margins, font size, line spacing); the file uses Times New Roman 13 pt.
- A value below its cut-off? See the Results doctor for what you may legitimately do about it.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a section I ran missing from the list?
Sections are stored per browser. If you ran the tool in another browser, a private window or on another device, or cleared your browsing data since, run it again here. Only the latest run of each tool is kept.
Can I mix English and Vietnamese sections?
The builder renumbers both “Table 4.n” and “Bảng 4.n” captions, but each tool saves the section in the language of the page you ran it on. Run every tool from its English page for an all-English chapter.
Does it change my numbers?
No. Only table and figure numbers and the section headings change; every statistic, caption text and paragraph is copied exactly as the tool produced it.
